OUR STORY

Spark the Way began after founder, Madison Miller, was put into remission from lymphoma. She was diagnosed with cancer at 20 years old, and in that same month, also lost her Grandpa to the disease. Not soon after, her Grandma was diagnosed and just lost her battle in December of 2018. Her life was surrounded by cancer, but also by the community she found in her church. Her faith in Jesus and life-giving community was her strength in battle, and were also the parts of the story that gave her the ability to be victorious from the first day of diagnosis. Spark the Way ignites the same faith in the young adult generation that equips them to be fearless and Light-bearing in the face of darkness.

Spark The Way

sees, serves, and supports young adults, age 18-39, and their families who are affected by cancer. We provide a community that walks alongside fighters, survivors, and caregivers by funding medical bills and living expenses, providing connections and emotional support from our care team, and raising awareness through outreach events.

We are not just a resource, but a relationship.
